Very clean, lovely lady checking us in, great value for money for a 2 bedroom unit. Even has a full size fridge and proper milk. Each bedroom room had a full size flat screen TV with Netflex. An excellent stay … will stay again …

it was very good 3 days, would happily return. property was perfect, with amicable staff and perfect location on driving in the establishment looks mildly dated. views of the mountains were stunning, the room was extremely pleasant and brand-new. a bathtub was big and everything was very comfortable.

The location of the hotel was convenient as it was easy to find. the rooms were quiet and warm, which made for a comfortable stay. the facilities appeared clean overall.

The condition of the facilities was disappointing. the furniture was dated and dirty, with other people's socks found under the sofa.

Good reasonably clean well priced unit

I stayed at Merino Villa 1 in Christchurch and enjoyed the beautiful garden view from the terrace. It was a 4-bedroom venue and I had a great time.

That the mosquitoes seemed to enjoy the garden view too.

We were only there overnight so didnt have much time to find out what was good.

Sofa in lounge was very uncomfortable. Full ashtray left outside on patio.

Unclean, limited bedding so was a cold night, had heater but no smoke alarms in unit so unable to leave heater on, limited services in kitchen.We would never stay there again and don't recomend it to anybody.

I recently stayed at the Willowbank Motel for two nights on a leisure trip. The room I got was clean and tidy, with all the expected facilities such as a private toilet/shower, a microwave, a fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities. The spaciousness of the room was a pleasant surprise, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the friendly reception upon arrival and the helpfulness of the Asian receptionist made my stay even more enjoyable. The owner was also super accommodating. a great stay at a bargain price.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
